Pat Byrne takes inspiration from the people, places and things he observes in everyday life. He is rarely without his artistic materials and often begins a project by drawing live. Pat mainly works in watercolor, pen and pencil, refining images in Clip Studio Paint. However, he can completely replicate this style digitally, as well as work in a more graphic manner depending on your needs.
Pat’s work is known for its versatility and keen eye for detail. He is comfortable with a wide variety of mediums and artistic styles and can implement any aesthetic you desire. During his 10 years working as a tattoo artist he became proficient in rendering traditional motifs and lettering as well as dexterous in realizing a client’s vision. Pat attained a BFA in drawing and sculpture as well as an MA (Savannah College of Art and Design/SCAD) in sequential art. This experience and training have given him the ability to develop emotive illustrations that tell a story across a broad spectrum of channels. He’s worked in advertising and branding, as well as accepted painting commissions. Pat’s works have been used as stickers, banners, and paintings that adorn the walls of homes and restaurants alike.
